Issue of Sanitation Facilities in India –
We say that we are in 21st
century and in much better place where everyone concentrate of healthy and hygienic
lifestyle. We here includes educated society of India who are aware of the importance
of hygiene, sanitation and safety but we are still not so much aware of the
fact that how important it is to make these things available for village society
of India to maintain cleanliness and hygiene of India. My dear friends this is
not just a small number, around 597 people of India are defecating in open.
Imagine the situation of women in such area they are not only exposed to
various diseases due to unhealthy situations but also exposed to the unsafe
situations.
Domex
have taken a great initiative to tackle this issue of “open defecation”. Even though everyone
complains about the issues of cleanliness, no one initiate to for the same.
People are just waiting for the government to do these stuffs. But now it is
the time to realize that it is your responsibility to be the change. Our Prime
Minister has initiated “Clean India Campaign” on 2nd October and
Domex has taking a big step towards clean India Mission.
If
each and every individual of India wants their country to be cleaner, safer and
healthier then clean India mission is not hard to achieve.
What Domex Initiative for Open
defecation-
- 1. Domex Aim to make Indian Villages “open defecation” free.
- 2. Under #ToiletForBabli Domex Aims to Build around 24000 toilets by 2015
- 3. Domex Toilet Academy program was launched in 19th November 2013 since then they have put their efforts in rural part of Maharashtra and Orissa.
- 4. They help rural people to make toilets accessible and affordable for them.
- 5. On top of this they also promote the benefits of cleanliness and hygiene.
Why we should Support Domex –
- 1. We have our own busy lives and as such we do not have time to do anything for our society. In this case least we can do is support someone who is contributing on such a large scale.
