Book Review: Private India

Hi Friends,

Last week My hands were full with preparation of Ganesha Festival. It gives me great pleasure every year to welcome Adorable Ganapati and prepare delicious food for him J So yesterday I started reading “Private India” book which I received via blogadda as part of Book Review Program. When I received the book I was curious to start the book as it is written by two of my favorite author’s king of mysteries Ashwin Sanghi and King of Thriller James Patterson.
I am fond of reading fiction if I will get chance I will read all serial killing, bom blasts, terrorism and don type of stories. The book where climax is unexpected that’s always attracts me a lot.

Before I start about the book check out its details-

About Private Series-
Private India is part of Private series of books written by James Patterson along with co-authors if you are interested in reading other private series then Private , Private London, Private Games, Private: No. 1 Suspect, Private Berlin, private Down Under, Private L.A., private India are published set of private series and next coming up book is Private Vegas.

The Plot-
The story happens in Mumbai the place in India where life is at its peak. All the things bad and beautiful happen in Mumbai. So as the story of Private India happens in Mumbai it starts with serials killings of women with same yet different pattern, why these murders are happening? What is the pattern? What killer wants to tell from these murders? These are the questions in front of Detective Santosh Wagh working at Private India Detective Agency. The journey of reading the book is like finding the answers to these questions and enjoying the twist and turn in the story.

What I like about this book-

1.   Duo of two great authors Ashwin Sanghi and James Patterson in single book.
2.   The way of storytelling is engaging as well as fascinating with the power of compelling the reader to read book till the end.
3.   Building Suspense with fast moving story of smaller chapters.
4.   Using Mumbai as a suitable place for the story and how the story involves places of Mumbai.
5.   Introduction of a concept in the book about the killer is just like watching a TV Thriller series
6.   Involving Indian Mythology as a part of a story in totally unexpected way.

I will say do read this book relax your mind open yourself to a journey of thriller with great twist and turns. As a crazy lover of such kind of book I am going to read other books of private series too.  I cannot wait to explore the other books. I will be sharing with you all about other books too as soon as read them.
Thanks  lot BlogAdda for giving me such a lovely book. I enjoyed it.

What I did not like about this book -

1. Too many characters are involved in the story.
2. There are very short chapters in the book and did not like it as once I am reading one chapter and I in depth then suddenly the chapter changes.
Keep Reading, keep Enjoying !!!
PS – My rating for the book is 4.5/5.
