The Joy of Giving

"Bhuk" is the feeling which drives one person to get up, to work, to do something. But what if after getting up on feet, working hard for 14 hours a day cannot get a meal to fill this "Bhuk". In our country some people are blessed with more and some people are not even blesses with basic needs. Blessed people have chance say thank you to God by sharing his blessings with the needy people.
We know we are too busy with our own work, family and stress, but still we can do something which will add value to our society. Every person has many special occasions in the year like birthdays and anniversaries. Instead of going to fancy costly restaurant and treating your friends and colleagues here is a better idea. Contact a needy School which are trying hard to get food and books for educating kids. On the your special occasion ,you can donate one time meal for the school, you can even make a big day out of it- where you can go with your  friends help the kids, cut cake with them and spread joy with the poor children of India.
Imagine if the majority population of India decided to donate on their special occasions we can surely help to eliminate the classroom hunger and our next generation can worry about getting education rather than worrying about getting food during their childhood. If these kids get their meal in the school they will automatically get attracted to the schools and we can have fully educated next generation.
I know many of friends who practice this kind donation on their birthdays and from now on words I am going to do the same. I am going to celebrate my special occasions with not only my dear one’s but also with the future of our India.
Below is a small video from Akshay Patra which is an organization doing great work of providing mid-day meals to the various schools in India and trying to eliminate the classroom hunger.
