Defining Me...

When BlogAdda announced a new prompt to write about “Things That Define Me”, then I realized that I never thought about this before. I thought about my goals in life, I thought about my relationships and I thought about things that make me sad or things that makes me happy but I never thought about “Things that define Me”. Thanks to BlogAdda for making me think about it and now I am getting closer to myself.

My Eyes – I am not saying my eyes are most beautiful, but my eyes are reflection of my soul. My eyes defines me as who I am. It gives glimpse of my personality, my mood and my attitude. My eyes sparkle when I smile and it define my happiness. My Eyes when filled with water define my sadness. My eyes lit with spark define my determination. I feel “Eyes have its own language and it always speaks truth”. If you want to read me try to read my eyes first.

My Eyes Define Me
My Smile – Smile is the most important thing that defines me, because I smile in every situation. I smile when I am happy, excited, nervous, proud, sad or scared. But for each situation I have different smile. I feel smiling is easier than explaining your mood. People who are close to me can understand my mood based on my smile and they never expect any explanations. “The smile on my face does not define perfection of my life, but it defines appreciation for what I have and what God has blessed me with.”
My smile defines Me

People Behavior towards Me - How people behaves with me defines me. How my teachers behave with me defines what kind of student I am. How my parents treats me defines what kind of daughter I am. What my in laws do for me defines me as daughter in law. How well my employees respond to me defines me as a Boss. How well my friends stay connected defines me as a friend. How much my husband loves me defines me as wife. How my brother cares for me defines me as a sister.
See  how cute this teddy behaves with Me :-P

My Words - It does not matter which language I speak but which words I use defines me. It is said that “The word once spoken cannot be taken back”. It is true because the moment you speak, your words start defining you and it cannot be changed easily. The words which I use in blogging, in presentations or in social gatherings leaves impact on people. Whether it is good or bad but my words do defines me.
I do not remember what I was speaking in this photo :)
My Hobbies - If we know someone’s hobbies then we feel that we know the person very well. More than my job title my hobbies define me. Hobbies are the part of me that comes from my heart. Even from my busy schedule I always try to find some time for my hobbies because that gives me happiness and satisfaction. My hobbies are a big part of who I am.

  • Cooking is one of my many hobbies

These are the things that will truly define me. You cannot completely define me by the gender, religion or occupation without the above four things.
