First of all I would like give a standing ovation for the initiative
taken by BlogAdda and Akshaya Patra for such a nobel initiative of
#BlogToFeedAChild.
Hunger is no.1 cause of death in India.
Major population of India is below poverty line and these are the people who
can barely afford one time meal. Even though India is self-sufficient to
provide food to the Indian population but still hunger issue still continues.
According to the research 250 million people in India are hungry. Hungry
population in India is more than total population of France, Germany and UK combined.
Today when we are celebrating children’s
day and giving good food and clothes to our kids and making them happy but
there are loads of children which are deprived from their basic rights such
food and education. Today do think on this issue and spread the happiness to
those children just by giving meal to them. It really makes me sad in India
poor people are hungry because rich people or not ready to share.
We say Sharing is caring and this will
only lead us to achieve the Goal of “No hungry Child in India”. The answer lies within sharing – Sharing food,
sharing time, sharing money and sharing knowledge.
Here are some key points which I think if every educated and earning
Indian decides to do then there will be no hungry child on next year’s children
days 14th November 2015.
1. Private well established schools can conduct
activities where the students can share some amount of raw food material and then
share those to the poor schools intern they will provide to their students. This
will help to prevent classroom hunger
2. After Party or wedding whatever food is leftover do
not forget to share with such organization which feeds hungry people.
3. Participate online with the organization Akshaya
Patra to reach out to hungry child.
4. Donate at least minimal amount form your salary for
hungry child.
- I am going to #BlogToFeedAChild with Akshaya Patra and BlogAdda.
