Book Title:
Ramayana - The Game of Life: Rise of the Sun Prince
Book Author: Shubha Vilas
Book Essence: Mythology
Price: Rs 250
Ramayana is one of the greatest mythological stories told to every child in India and yes there are many reasons behind this. I feel that one must read Ramayana again and again during childhood, teenage, adulthood and old age because every time we read it we get different lessons which are very important to live a good and positive life.  The first part of the book where author tells the details about qualities possessed by a true Hero and no other than Ram had those many qualities since this recent kalyug.
Ramayana is collection of book 6 and I am glad to start with the first book Rise of the Sun Prince. The author has narrated the story in comprehensive manner which is very easy to understand. Ramayana is basically a book containing loads of lessons of morality. The writing style of author is in such a ways the Ramayana is understandable for this generation. It was necessary to have such version of Ramayana.
Rise of the Sun Prince describes story of birth of Rama and it goes on till his Marriage. Rama was growing under guidance of Vishmamitra and learning how to face the evils.Vishmamitra character in the book is really interesting who was a teacher to Rama and lakshmana.
The best part of the book is that it is self explanatory, author has also explained the meaning between the lines and how ancient teaching techniques are also useful in the present era. The explanatory notes are like a cherry on the cake. As reader it is self explaining novel all you have to do is just read.
While reading the book I even doubted my long held believes but it was really necessary to learn new things and the book enlighten my thoughts and believes. Change is the only constant thing in life and hence modern meaning of Ramayana meaning was just perfect thought provoking book for this generation who gets bored when topic of mythology comes in picture.
Even I am person who do not enjoy reading mythology I used to think why to know more about that we already know the main story, but I enjoyed reading this book as it was easy to understand, self explanatory, thought provoking and interesting.

Know who you are reading : Shubha Vilas
Shubha Vilas, a spiritual seeker and a motivational speaker, holds a degree in engineering and law with specialization in Patent Law. His leadership seminars are popular with top-level management in corporate houses. He also helps individuals deal with modern-life situations by applying the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana and other dharmic traditions.

PS – I will rate this book as 4 out of 5 and Yes I will look forward to read the remaining 5 parts of the book and I am sure with such writing style of author it will be pleasure to read the end and know how the Hero destroys the evil Ravana.
