The Big Event

Riya was a popular college girl, you know what I mean. All guys go crazy when she enters the college parking. Guys fallow her, gave her roses and cards. Riya was not that easy catch, she was beauty with brains.  She could not be friends with guys as they wanted more than friendship from her and she could not be friends with girls as they were jealous. 

                Riya had only one friend in her life Raj who was well known as Nerd of the class. No one used to notice him. His looks were hidden in his stubbles so as his presence. But Riya knew the hidden talent of Raj and they became good friends, But Raj was deeply in Love with Riya.

                One day Raj came across the notice about Prom Day in the college and then he decided to ask Riya to be his date on this big college day. He went to classroom and he saw that Riya already got many inventions from really handsome guys of the college. At that moment highly intelligent Raj lost his confidence and he felt so heartbroken.

                Riya approached Raj and tole him that she will be his date on Prom’s Night. He knew she was doing this as friends to be with him when no one will go out with him to prom. Raj went to pick up Riya for the Big Event without his nerdy glasses and fully shaved and the moment Riya opened the door there eyes meet, Riya had no words to say she was in shock that all this time she was friends with the most handsome guy of the college. They had the great time together and while dancing on the beautiful song he came closer and whispered to her “I love you” and Riya whispered back “Me too”
