Book Review: The Deliberate Sinner

Hate the Sin Not the Sinner – This line written by author on the first page of the book with her autograph. The book explains this at the end and I totally agree with this.  Before judging a sinner we should see what makes the person to do the sin. When we say deliberate sinner that means definitely something strong external pressure is the reason behind committing the sin.
What the book gives you great story, drama, twists, emotions, sensuality, action and love. I feel this book is complete package. While reading the book I did not feel like to keep it down at all. The story of Rihana is narrated in such a great way that we can feel what Rhiana is going through from each page of the book. Every woman has a hidden strength in her so as Rihana.
The story is about Rihana the victim of current society’s male dominating thinking. Rihana is today’s modern girl who got married to Veer from a very respected family. What Rihana wanted from this marriage is just few minutes of Veer’s time, love care and togetherness. This book is about what happens when two people with totally different personality come together, they try to make it work or they want to be apart or it will lead to something else.
Author Bhaavna Arora is writer of this generation the way this story built up and the characters in it are so much interestingly described in the book that you feel that the story is about things happening with your friend Rihana.
Marriage is very complicated thing especially in India, where marriage is not only between bride and groom but also between bride’s family and groom’s family. This makes marriage more complicates and on top of that Society plays a vital role as bride’s families are more concern about what society thinks than what their daughter feels. So many women face this kind of situation where they compromise their entire life just for sake of society, they tolerate the violence by their husband and even they shut their mouth if their husband’s are having affair. But no husband will tolerate this if their wife is doing anything else other than his will and wish. This book is a wake-up call for all those women, their families and their husband that it is no more acceptable. Now woman is capable, confidence and believes in marriage of equality. Now girls have deleted the words like tolerance, compromise, adjustment etc from their dictionary.
Marriage is a knot tied between two equal people so stop making the groom’s side heavier. Successful marriage is not when two similar personality come together but when two different person can treat each other equally.
