Please help, I don’t feel safe

I switch on TV;

I see stories about Crime against Me,

I read Newspaper;

I see news about Crime against Me,

I open Internet;

 I see articles about Crime against Me,

I look inside me;

I see worry about crime against Me,

I am a Girl, I am a sister,

I am a daughter, I am a Mother,

Please Don’t spoil my Life,

I may be someone’s wife.

I go to school, I go to college,

Fear follows me from city to village,

I work at office or I stay at home,

The feeling of safeness is all gone,

I may be in crowd or in isolation,

Let me feel safe in all situations,

I don’t want this fear in my Life,

Please help, I don’t feel Safe.

I am always alert and suspicious,

I am always prepared and precocious,        

I know I have to take care of myself

I have to be aware of situation if and else,

I know I am not safe in night or Day,

My bag is equipped with Pepper Spray,
