My Buddies

When a mother sees her baby from the first time there is only one thought in her mind and that is to keep her baby happy and for rest of her life she takes up all kinds of avatar. Every mother has the capability to become teachers, guides, leaders, protectors and providers for their children. There some mothers who go one step forward and become buddy of their children and I feel that is perfect parenting package.

Yes, you heard me right paring comes as package because molding a child into better person contains includes variety of things. The most important thing every parent should remember is that “Children learn more from what you are that what you teach”.

When parents adopts buddy parenting then they come one step closer to their children and it helps when kid grows into teenager. A parent can pass on their values to their kids very effectively. Many parents complain that their kids don’t listen to them or do not share anything with them. The answer to all these kind of issues is “Buddy Parenting”.

Share something about your friends and your past school and college days with your kids openly and see how quickly they will open up to you. Approach your kids with a problem which they can solve better than you and then your kids will come to you in case they have any kind of issues. Play with your kids to develop sporty spirit in their mind. It always works if you share study time with your kid and motivate them or relax them during exams. Most important thing is let them make their own decision and guide them as friend if they are wrong and always remember just because you gave them birth you don’t own them.

I can say proudly that my Mom and Dad were my buddies in all stages of my life and now also after my wedding I call my Mother every single day and we are like best friends. Buddy parenting not only helps parents to connect with their kids but also it helps kids to get closer to their parents.

I can share anything with my parents as friend and that stopped me wrong going on wrong path. I always discuss with my parents before taking any decision and it builds my confidence. I learned a lot from them. They never gave me any kind of pressure and hence I turned out so well.

By this post I want to thank my buddies(Parents) for all their Love :D
