Bye Bye Split Ends

By Frequent haircuts at salon,

My short and beautiful hair were always rock on.

Guys always fallow me and girls were red with jealousy,

They hated that my hair was perfect salon style glossy.

They never needed any special attention,

But they always got people’s special attention.

Wherever I go the questions never stop,

How do I keep them always tip top.

They were shiny with beautiful ends,

I was the star of many many minds.

Salon visits stopped and they grew long,

They knew shine and perfection was not for life long.

This was my time with long hair like princess,

I never missed a chance to show off my tresses.

Gradually everything got changed when I got split ends,

I was no longer the star and had to tie up my not so beautiful ends.

Mind says don’t cut them as they have grown so long,

Brain replied show split ends where they belong.

Lastly mind won the race with no visit to salon,

Long hairs are no more for show off,

I tied then up every day,

I was sad to stop my hair-play.

They were like a long messy mop,

And voice in my head says “Chop Chop Chop”.

I never gave up on my hair,

The day will come when people start to stair.

I got salon style hair at home with miracle,

My flaunting began like an sweet angle.

I was star again for many minds,
